AFTER PRETTY MUCH LIVING UP NORTH IN JERSEY ALL MY LIFE I DECIDED TO VENTURE OFF TO THE DIRTY SOUTH.
OFF TO ATLANTA I WENT AND DAMN I TRIED TO GIVE THIS PLACE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT, BUT IT IS SO DAMN TRUE!!! THIS PLACE IS A MESS!!!!
I HAVE ONLY BEEN LIVING IN THE "A" ABOUT A MONTH AND THE, LETS CALL THEM CHARACTERS, I HAVE MET WERE SO NOT WORTH MY TIME.
CASE #1, LETS CALL HIM BLINKY.....I MET BLINKY AS THE INFAMOUS ATL LIVE THE FIRST WEEKEND OUT...IT WAS LIKE HE HAD AN APB OUT ON THE NEW KID IN TOWN...ILL HAVE TO ADMIT HE DID GIVE OFF THAT PSUEDO THUGGISH APPEAL, AND BOY MANNERISMS AT FIRST. AND BEING THAT HE WAS SOME SORT OF "RICAN" I WAS LIKE DAMN I FEEL LIKE IM BACK IN NEW YORK....BUT WHAT I NOTICED MOST WAS HIS LIGHT EYES, HENCE THE NAME "BLINKY".....SO ME AND DUDE MET UP AND KICKED IT AND I DID ASK HIM IF THOSE WERE HIS EYES AND OF COURSE HE SAID YES. SO I TOOK IT FOR WHAT IT WAS, UNTIL I SAW HIS CONTACT LENS CASE WITH HIS "EYES" IN THEM ON DAY CHILLIN AT HIS CRIB...SO I THOUGHT TO MYSELF, DAMN DUDE IS LYIN ABOUT SIMPLE SHIT ALREADY, SO LET ME PREP MYSELF TO KICK THIS NIGGA TO THE CURB...NEEDLESS TO SAY THE LIES CONTINUED, ABOUT HIM AND HIS ROOMMATE/COUSIN, ABOUT HIM GETTIN A NEW CAR AND THE HOOPTY HE WAS DRIVING WAS A RENTAL...NOW DONT GET ME WRONG, AINT NOTHING WRONG WIT A HOOP-RIDE, BUT JUST BE HONEST ABOUT YA SHIT!! I JUST KNEW SHIT WASNT RIGHT WIT THIS SO BLINKY HAD TO GO!!! AND I COULDNT BE RID OF HIM FAST ENOUGH!!!!
CASE#2---LETS CALL HIM SHORTY-ROCK!!! OK SHORTY WAS A CUTIE, 4REAL..HE HAD THAT PSUEDO-BOY ACTING APPEAL TO HIM AS WELL, BUT IT WAS COOL 4 HIM..CUZ HE COULD HAVE BEEN WIFEY MATERIAL...BUT THIS LIL NIGGA THOUGHT HE WAS BOUT TO RUN SOME GAME ON ME!!! SAYING HOW DUDES CALLIN AT 3 AND 4 IN THA AM WERE HIS FRIENDS AND HES NOT KICKIN IT WIT NO ONE LIKE THAT AND SOME OTHER BULLSHIT!!!! I TOLD HIM TO TAKE HIS BAMA-ASS ON WIT THAT BULLSHIT, IM FROM UP-TOP TRY AND RUN THAT GAME ON THESE COUNTRY NIGGAS WHO DONT KNOW ANYBETTA!! SO HE HAD TO GO...THEN COME TO FIND OUT LATER FROM OTHER PEEPS WHO KNEW HIM THAT HE IS A SLUT..SO YEA IM GLAD I CUT HIM WHEN I DID.
CASE#3---HIS NAME IS GOING TO BE "ALMOST GOT ME", CUZ THAT NIGGA ALMOST HAD ME SLIPPIN FOR A MINUTE...BUT GAME RECOGNIZE GAME NIGGA...AND THATS ALL IMA SAY ABOUT U..BUT U KNOW WHATS UP...
SO THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS NIGGAS AINT SHIT AND WILL NEVER BE SHIT, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU WANT THEM TO BE SOMETHING THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF BEING!

Don't blame Atlanta...Because most of those fools come from somewhere else...lol...but I can relate...alot of them ARE a mess...but what can you actually expect from a club setting???
I'm new to this blog shit, but I must comment in on your experience.
I moved to atl 3 years ago and had a similiar experience. Day 1 it was clear to me I was the New Hot BOY in the city. After a couple of months of getting caught up in ATL and it's gay splendor, Lenox on Saturday, Tracks, Bulldogs, Fusions, 708 AKA Loretta's, not to mention the internet sites (damn it's some fake ass hoes on the internet lol). Fellas was lying to me left and right jus to get a piece. I had to take a step back and realize there's a reason I attract what I attract. And it's not because I'm so damn good looking (Even though I am). It was more of what I was putting out to the universe. When I did some much needed self analysis I realized I was playin a major part in what was comming my way. I agree wif ya there are many peeps in ATL that are a mess, but I was all to eager to attach myself to mess whether intentional or not. When I stopped going to where the mess was and became more productive things turned around for me. Now three years lata I look back and realized if I hadn't started doing thing differently I would still be allowing mess to be a part of my life. Didn't want to admit it but I was a magnet for mess in my actions. What happens next is up to you. You can continue to invite mess in ya life or take responsibility and change it up. No disrepect jus sharing cause I been there.

ok i only met the one dude at atl live, and i dont think its really the venue, i believe it's just how people behave down here
i know niccas aint shit bruh, dealing with them for about 10 years otr more, they gonna want to fuck u and all yo friends, it quite homemosexual bruh, my thing is if we aint living according to the black book, we can expect a motherfucker to do anything in thia lifestyle, so i came to the conclusion, if u cant beat them slick motherfuckers , join'em at their own game!!!!!!!

i am so sick and tired of peeps coming to atlanta and trashing our city. If atl is so bad why not keep your ass where you are, we dont need you. I was born here but have lived up north in new jersey, pennsylvania and indiana...and believe me i was counting the days to get back home. Atlanta has the largest black middle and higher income levels than any other city in the usa(source:black enterprise). In addition, while other urban populations are decreasing(in new york, calif. penn, michigan,etc,) Georgia is increasing at alarming rates(that is why atlanta is constantly under construction). Many of you broke asses come here hoping to meet your dream guy...well it not gonna happen if you too damn cheat to pay the benjamins to hang out at the right spots...no matter where you go..peeps are gonna act like they have more than what they have(especially at clubs)...believe me the ones worth having are not hanging out at the local meat markets with all the other losers (unless they are just looking to get laid)...atlanta has a lot to offer you just have to look in the right places and have your shyt together as well.
